Adaptive Pants- We have an assortment of Full Elastic waist pants which are easier to get on than conventional pants. Our Half Elastic pants have the same functionality as our Full Elastic Pants with a Regular Front but an Elastic Back. You’ll notice that most of today’s back opening dresses position their snaps straight down the back of the garment. This placement puts a considerable amount of pressure on a wheelchair patient and can cause possible spine irritation. To avoid this serious problem, nursing directors working with our designers developed the overlap concept with ideal offset positioning of snaps. Clothing that Lasts Much of the adaptive clothing on the market is made with Velcro Closure. Adaptive Clothing usually has to be washed often and velcro does not wash well. We only make our clothing with long lasting closures such as snaps, buttons and zippers which are able to handle the extreme heat of industrial laundry.
